G1 Climax 32 C Block Match
Tetsuya Naito [0] v. EVIL [2]

A picture containing text, person Description automatically generated

Tetsuya Naito will see a familiar foe across the ring as he tries to notch his first G1 Climax tournament match victory since October 14, 2020. Naito and EVIL were seemingly destined to battle through the entirety of 2020. They have separated since Naito defeated EVIL at 2020’s Power Struggle event. EVIL will come in fresh, logging only 10 minutes of ring time thus far in this year’s G1, while Naito has been taken two the limit twice, more than quadrupling EVIL’s tournament-to-date total.

Match Eight
G1 Climax 32 A Block Match
Kazuchika Okada [4] v. Bad Luck Fale [4]

Calendar Description automatically generated with medium confidence

I’m not sure if anyone had Kazuchika Okada vs. Bad Luck Fale as the first battle of wrestlers with two wins each, but here we are. Fale has had Okada’s number twice during the G1 (2016, 2018). Will he play spoiler again, or has Okada exorcized the Rogue General as his Bullet Club kryptonite?

G1 Climax 32 D Block Match
YOSHI-HASHI [0] v. Juice Robinson [2]

A picture containing text Description automatically generated

Before Juice Robinson got “Rock Hard,” this would have been a battle between two fiery fan favorites, but since Juice moved on from his flamboyant ways and joined the Bullet Club, he hasn’t gotten such a warm welcome from NJPW crowds. YOSHI-HASHI now serves as the only fan-favorite underdog in this match, and he will need the crowd’s energy to overcome the newly nefarious “Rock Hard” Juice Robinson.
